After a strap of his backpack failed him in just a minefield of all places and almost cost him his life, a Navy SEAL vowed to produce equipment for soldiers in the field, on which they could rely - that was the beginning of Blackhawk in 1990. Amongst other things the now legendary CQB riggers belt dates back to that. Today Blackhawk's product range goes from holsters and backpacks to breaching equipment and even supressors.
